My atom sl 4.0 won't pick up sensor on back wheel ...

My atom sl 4.0 won't pick up sensor on back wheel - replaced battery twice, adjusted magnet and checked id code which is 1 - no luck and out of ideas ( no luck on utube and other research. Any ideas?
