X7 Elliptical Trainer - HR Monitor Trouble...

I have a heart rate strap with watch, that I am attempting to use with my eliptical trainer. I tried to use, and sometimes it appears to work, but today, I tried (HR Interval program) and the HR would get stuck at 133 and at 163, but my watch kept monitoring appropriately
