Question About Life Fitness Elliptical Trainer 6000
won't take time or level of excerise on panel...

When pedal, flashing P appears but will not allow to enter time of excerise or level of excerise. Bicycle is 20 plus years old and battery never replaced. Will replacing battery fix or is problem in electronic panel?
