What does the S1 3 message mean? It runs across the screen and the treadmill will not work.

0 The safety key is missing or not hitting the switch properly. Remove the console & check if the key is hitting the switch (insertable). If magnetic, check if the safety switch pickup on the underside of the console has moved. If so, hot glue back in place. Turn off the treadmill, unplug it, wait 30 secs, plug it back in & put key in place. Check that the metal piece below the “stop” sticker is in place. If all the switches check out & treadmill still won't clear the code, replace the console.
