i can't figure out how to set the time.can you help me?

4 make sure your in the right mode with the date and day and time displayed.Hold the set button until the seconds start to flash then used the mode button to pan through the to the hours or minutes.Use the adjust button to change the time or any other feature while it is flashing. When you done messing around give the set button one quick short tap and it exits the the adjustment mode and goes back to normal mode. I use the term normal loosely. Good luck turning off the alarm if you turn it on by accident.
