BUTTONS ON YOUR PEDOMETER

SET: This button is used to set your goal. It is used in conjunction with the MODE button to do so.
RESET: Resets your pedometer to Count Up Mode at 0.
TO OPERATE YOUR PEDOMETER
1. The default goal is 99999 steps in Count Up Mode. Press the RESET button to turn your pedometer on. If you do not wish to set a goal, the pedometer will count up to 99999 before beeping to indicate that you’ve reached your goal. At any time you can
press the MODE button to toggle to the Count Down Mode. The display will show the number of steps you need to take to achieve your goal or to achieve 99999 steps if you have not set a goal.
2. To set a Count Up goal, press the MODE button to toggle into Count Up Mode if it does not already show on the pedometer display. Hold the SET button for 3 seconds. The display will show 99999 and the digit furthest to the right will flash. Press the
MODE button to increase the digit to the desired goal for that digit placement and press SET again. The next digit will flash. Press the MODE button again to increase to the desired digit number and press SET again. Continue this process until all five
digits are set to your desired goal.
NOTE: If you do not reset your goal once it is reached, the pedometer will beep at increments of the goal you have set. For example, if you set your goal to 150 steps, the pedometer will beep at 150, 300, 450, etc.
At any time you can press the MODE button to Count Down Mode and the display will tell you how many more steps needed to reach your original goal. For example, if your goal is set at 150 steps and you have walked 110 steps, when you press the
MODE button to toggle into Count Down Mode, it will show you have 40 steps left.
If you continue to walk past your Count Up goal of 150 steps and toggle into Count Down, it will continue to count down in increments of 150 steps. For example, if you toggle to Count Down Mode at 280 steps, your pedometer will show that you have 20
steps remaining to achieve 300 steps.
3. To set a Count Down goal, press the MODE button until Count Down shows on the LCD display. Hold the SET button for three seconds. The display will show 99999 and the digit furthest to the right will flash. Press the MODE button to increase the digit
to the desired goal for that digit placement and press SET again. The next digit will flash. Press the MODE button again to increase to the desired digit number and press set again. Continue this process until all five digits are set to your Count Down goal.
Once you’ve achieved your Count Down goal, your pedometer has sounded to indicate this. If you continue to walk past your goal, your pedometer will reset itself to your original countdown goal and start counting down again. For example, if you set your
Count Down goal at 200, once you’ve walked beyond 200 steps, it will go back to 200 again to count down.
If you have passed your preset goal, your pedometer will add the number of steps taken to that point. For example, if your Count Down goal is 200 steps and you’ve gone 20 steps beyond your goal in Count Down Mode, the display will show 180. If you
toggle to Count Up Mode, the display will show that you have taken 220 steps.
