Owner’s Manual: Programs 47
Mile Program
The Mile Program is available by pressing the
PERFORMANCE key. The distance is fixed at one mile and
the incline is preprogrammed. You can change the speed
and override the preprogrammed incline using the arrow
keys.
This program records your personal best time when you
select a USER key and complete the program. If you have a
previous record, it scrolls across the display when the
program begins.
When you complete the program, a message appears
indicating whether you exceeded, maintained, or missed your
personal best record. Refer to Recording Your Personal
Best Time.
WALK Programs
Three WALK Programs are available on the 9.33 by pressing
the PERFORMANCE key. Each program provides varying
levels of exertion from an easy walk (WLK 1) and moderate
walk (WLK 2) to an advanced level walk (WLK 3). As the
number associated with the program increases, so does the
percent of incline and the frequency of the changes within
the program’s profile.
All the WALK programs have preset inclines. As you move
through the program, the profile mimics the prior column’s
incline level unless you change it or the program’s time limit
is reached. You can override the incline levels at any time by
pressing the INCLINE arrow keys.
The running belt’s speed is completely under your control.
Adjust the speed using the SPEED arrow keys.
The WALK Programs are great cardio-conditioning programs
for beginners and serious walkers alike. Visit the Precor web
site www.precor.com for more information and to
supplement your exercise sessions.
