1. SetupyourPedometerdeviceandtakeatestreading.
2. GetreadytouseyourPedometerwithHealthVault.
3. ConnectyourPedometertoyourcomputeranduploadyourtestreadingtoHealthVault.

Step1:Setupyourpedometerandaccumulateafewsteps
IMPORTANT:YouwillNOTbeusingtheCDincludedwiththedeviceandmaysetitaside.
¾ OpenyourPedometerpackaging.Remember,youwillNOTbeusingtheCDincludedwiththe
deviceandmaysetitaside.
¾ Removethedevice,andbatteriesfromtheirplasticpackaging.
¾ RemovethescrewonthebatterycoverlocatedonthebackofmainunitandInstallthebattery
includedwiththepositive(+)sideofthebatteryupward.
¾ Setthetime,weightandstridelengthonyourdeviceasdescribedintheinstructionmanual
pages12‐15.
NOTE:Thedisplaywillnotchangeuntilyouhavewalkedformorethan4ormoreseconds
¾ AccumulatestepsonyourPedometer
o AttachthePedometerasdescribedintheinstructionmanualpages16and17.
o StartwalkinguntilyourPedometerhasaccumulatedseveralsteps.
