Component List:
1 Tent Body, 2 Tent Poles, 1 Carry Bag, 1 Tent Fly, 1 Stake Bag/
Stakes
Unroll and unfold the tent with the floor on the ground. Remove the
fly and set it aside. Do not stake the tent down yet. In windy
conditions, we recommend that a narrow end should face into the
wind and that you stake down one of its corners.
Join the shock-corded poles together. Try to prevent pole sections
from snapping together, as this can damage the pole ends. Note:
Make certain each insert (male end) has seated firmly into each
plain end (female).
At the front corner of the tent
A
, slide one of the poles
through the rod sleeve toward
the opposite side of the tent.
Push the pole to the opposite
corner;
A
to
B
. At the other
front tent corner
C
,
repeat
with the second pole;
C
to
D
.
See fig. 1 & 2
With the poles threaded through their proper
sleeves, start again at the front of the tent and
insert the pin into the pole ferrule at
A
, making
sure the buckle remains on top of the web.
Walk to
B
and grasp the other end of the pole
in one hand and the web loop
in the other. Push the pole
from
B
to
A
creating an arc.
Insert the pin into the pole
ferrule to tension the tent
across the seam line. Repeat
with the other pole;
C
to
D
.
See fig. 3 & 4.
With the tent secure, drape the fly over the tent body.
The fly only fits on the tent one way. Position the fly
over the tent with the Eureka! logos over the doors.
Reach under the fly, wrap the Velcro™ tabs about
half way down and around each pole. See fig. 7 & 8.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
GRAYBACK TENT:
Working your way around the tent,
attach the four clips to the poles.
Your tent is now free-standing,
place it in location that has
enough room for the fly and stake
it down through the rings. Stake
the opposite corners while
applying tension to smooth the
floor wrinkles. See fig. 5 & 6.
Connect the four corner buckles on the fly to their
mates on the tent webs.
At the front of the tent, pull the vestibule taut and
stake down the loop. Make sure that the vestibule is
tight across the front of the tent. Repeat with the
vestibule at the rear of the tent. Then stake out the two
side loops to keep the fly out and away from the tent.
Adjust and tighten all the buckles. See fig. 9 & 10.
Your tent is now ready for use.
Take down: Pull up stakes and open doors. Remove
the fly. Un-clip tent from the poles.
Pull poles out off the pins, collapse
the poles and stow in the bag.
Fold the tent/fly. Roll up
both towards the door
and stow in the carry
bag.
